Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 3, 2026

Overview

HabitFlo ("we", "our", or "the app") is built with privacy as a core principle. All data you create in HabitFlo — your habits, completions, streaks, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal data.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. Specifically:

  • No account or registration is required.
  • No names, email addresses, or contact information are collected.
  • No usage analytics or crash reporting data is sent to us.
  • No advertising identifiers are used.
  • No data is shared with third parties.

Data Storage

All habit data is stored locally on your device using the platform's built-in storage mechanisms (UserDefaults / DataStore). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the export feature, in which case you control where the exported file is saved or shared.

Permissions

HabitFlo may request the following device permissions:

  • Notifications — to deliver habit reminders you set up. No notification data is transmitted off-device.
  • App Groups (iOS) — to share habit data between the main app and the home screen widget, entirely on-device.

All permissions are optional. The app functions without them.

Children's Privacy

HabitFlo does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected from any user, the app is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
